Inspiration and tools

Artists and apprentices can join the amazing talent gathering together virtually for one goal, to use these unique times and multimedia to inspire each other and learn about the latest tools of the trade. Interactive workshops include the standards of Seminars, Workshops, discussion panels, and critiques, but also new interactive activities such as virtual group draws. Register for FREE here!

Virtual Floor

Beam into studios and HQs

Visitors can browse through the virtual convention artists to discover new tattooers, and beam directly into their studios! Of course you will be able to browse their portfolios, link to their amazing merchandise and original paintings, and send in a tattoo consultation (for the real world!), but for the three days you will be able to beam into the artists workstations, be amazed at their setups, and see them in action!

Virtual Stage

Worldwide access!

Tattoo collectors and the curious can beam into the various "stage" activities for the public throughout the event. Interviews with tattoo media personalities Tony Romel of Tattoo Society, Jake Meeks of the Fireside Tattoo Network, product demos, and other events will take place on the main stage. To close out the event, attendees can either join in the drunk critique, or simply enjoy the insanity (and learn a bit!).

VTC Team has webstreamed for over a decade

The team behind VTC has lived and breathed tattoos, education, and produced many of the tattoo worlds most memoriable events in the last two decades in a variety of unique wonderful locations. Attracting amazing artists, and those who want to be amazing, is how we have built the artist communities for Reinventing the Tattoo, and TattooNOW for decades. We have webcast these events for over a decade, helping artists, collectors, and the curious from all over the world beam into events far and wide from the comfort of their own home (or on the car ride!). Given the state of the world, we are excited to scale up and go all in and produce virtual tattoo conferences and conventions, starting with May 26th - 27th.

May 26 to 27 – the first Virtual Tattoo Conference:

> Free to all guests
> Four headlining workshops
> Late night paint session with Shawn Barber
> Drunk critique session led by Bob Tyrrell and Tony Romel
> Virtual “booths” with artists beaming in via webcam to create a “floor” that visitors can check out, see the artists working, look at their merch etc
> Sponsor “booth” presence on convention floor provides great place for special offers, promotional videos, demonstrations by top tier artists etc
> "Stage" is programmed with interviews, discussion panels, and the other stage activities you have come to love at previous Reinventing/Paradise/WWTC events.
> “Bar” area provides socialization opportunities for guests. Includes chat rooms, drawing groups and a “show off your tattoo collection” forum
> Sponsors get visibility in all webinars with logo placement, links etc
> Sponsor visibility remains on all future replays of webinars
> Webinars and other material which are incorporated into the Reinventing The Tattoo curriculum also retain sponsor visibility indefinitely
> Sponsors are also made clearly visible in all promotional material leading up to the event

Example Activites

Live Tattooing

It is fun to watch one person streaming online, but to be able to beam into a half dozen artists is a party! Not only do attendees get to watch live tatooing and art, but tools allow them to connect to other like minded people.

Inspiration

Stage events translate well digitally, with the added ability to acess guests that aren't able to travel half way around the world. Group discussions about important topics are always well attended and received.

Group Exercises

Virtual group activities are so much fun. Headliners will bounce inbetween art groups to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help share the lessons tattooing has taught them about life, the universe, and everything.

Demos

Artists walk through the latest tools, technologies, and gadgets. Of course, links and special offers are easily accessable.

Fun Learning

After hours activities can still be productive! Drunk Critiques, painting jams, and just plain old group hangouts help people learn about what is going on in other parts of the world and cultures!
